Our research (so far)

  • We are funding the Foundation’s Ed Prideaux to pursue research as part of his Master’s degree into the drivers of distress associated with HPPD. The study is completely anonymous and should take around thirty minutes to complete.

Ed hopes that the study will contribute to knowledge of treatments and pathways to recovery from the distress and debilitation of HPPD.

  • We have helped Macquarie University launch a ground-breaking study that will utilize state-of-the-art neuroimaging techniques (fMRI, MEG, EEG) to attempt to uncover how HPPD might work in the brain. Participant Recruitment is happening now in Australia.

  • We’re working with the University of Melbourne to develop an online psycho-physics screening tool that may help to determine if someone has unusual visual perceptual features, which may predispose them to HPPD if they decide to use of psychedelic drugs.
