The Perception Restoration Foundation was launched in 2021 to make a difference on HPPD.
HPPD has long been neglected in the research base. Despite being documented since at least the early 1970s, many people struggling with HPPD are still left with little idea of where to turn, what can help them, or who could understand.
The PRF’s mission is to:
Raise awareness responsibly around the risk of HPPD among the public and healthcare sectors
Fund and organize research to better understand the condition and lay the groundwork for good treatments
Connect existing resources with the potential to help to HPPD sufferers.
The PRF is open to all expressions of interest, research proposals, and correspondence from clinicians and other professionals. The PRF encourages anyone struggling with HPPD to read our Information Guide and/or contact a suitable provider in the Specialists Directory. We are also open to providing direct support via email and calls, though we cannot guarantee that we can help your case.
